The Adventures of Loren

The Cave

“Loren hold on!” Geo screamed

6 months earlier...

“Hey Loren, whatcha doing?” Geo asked.

“Um… reading about Perseus exploring an abandoned cave in Africa.”

“Cool! Wait…. What if we explored an abandoned cave too?”  

“That's a great idea, Geo! Let’s first plot out when and how we will find an abandoned cave.”

“Ok, Loren you plot it out and I’ll get all the supplies we need for this adventure.”

While Loren And Geo were getting prepared for this very dangerous adventure, oh wait…. I forgot to introduce you to Loren and Geo! Loren Georger is an intelligent 16-year-old teenager who likes to explore, and Geo Watson is a very curious and brave 16-year old teenager who likes to explore. Loren and Geo became very close friends at the age of 5. They always would think out of the box. One time they got so curious how people made coins, they decided to sneak into a factory to see how people actually made them. But… obviously, they got caught and their parents weren’t so happy. Guess what, Loren and Geo didn't even get to check out a glance how coins were made. One day though, Loren and Geo got lost in a secret abandoned lab and they somehow found a teleportation machine.

A few days later...

“Water? Food? First aid kit? Backpack?” Loren asked.

“Yes Loren, I’m 200% sure we have everything.”

“Ok, then Geo…”

“ So…. Loren, what’s the fantastic plan you say you’ve made?”

“Number 1, my plan is probably so good that you will say, “What??”

“No I won’t” Geo sighed.

“Let’s see about that,” Loren exclaimed.

“Geo, the plan I made is first we teleport to Africa. Then we can use our wings to fly up into the air to scout for a cave.”

“That sounds great to me Loren.”

Later in Africa…

“Loren I think I found a cave!”

“Geo where?”

“Over there.”

“Oh!!! Now I see it! C’mon Geo, let’s go!”

The two friends flew down to the ground and slowly walked toward the cave. Every step they were very careful to not wake up any wild animals, and especially not a 50 foot tall King Cobra.

“Uh… Loren?”

“What’s wrong?”

“The cave needs like some kind of secret passcode.”

“Oh. That’s ok, now step back”

“Haqre ry46rg ru3ewp 83hbfjd!” Loren mumbled.

The cave’s entrance slowly opens…

“HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?!? Geo gasped.

“My grandpa taught me.”

“Well… that’s still super impressive!”

After Loren opened the entrance to the cave, Geo and Loren slowly tiptoed down the cave.

“Wow…” Loren and Geo gasped.

“What is this?” Loren questioned.

There were bones, bodies, and pottery deep down in the cave.

“Should we stick together or split up?” Geo asked.

“Stay together, ”Loren replied.

Soon, Loren and Geo found a secret passage to a bunch of coffins.

“What the?” Loren mumbled.

“What?” Geo asked.

“Geo watch out!”

“Grrrrr!!!” A three-headed wolf was sprinting toward Loren and Geo.

“Loren shoot your lava cannon I put in your backpack!”

“Best of luck. Die You, Stupid Wolf!” Loren screamed.

The lava gun melted the three-headed wolf in seconds.

“Phew.” Loren and Geo sighed.

“Good thing you put that lava gun in my backpack.” Loren giggled.

“If you didn’t, we would literally be dead meat.”

“Lol,” Geo laughed.

Soon the two came up to a giant chest.

“Cool!” Geo whispered.

“Let’s open it, Loren.”

“Sure. Maybe we could get better wings!”

They slowly walked to the chest. When they were about an inch away, suddenly a man came out of nowhere and started shouting.

“DON’T OPEN IT!!” The man shouted.

“AHH!!” Where did you come from?” Loren squeaked.

“Why can’t we open it?” Geo asked politely.

“Because when I was just as curious as you guys, I opened the box, and then a demon came out. It had snakes on its head. Then I had to fight it with all my might and put it back into the chest. That’s why I have so many scars on me.”

“Are you Perseus..?” Loren stuttered.

“I sure am, son.”

“OMG!” Loren gasped.

“Ok then. What's down here in this cave?” Geo asked.

“Um… I’m not really sure yet.” Perseus replied.

“Since you haven’t found anything yet, let’s all work as a team and try to find valuables!” Loren exclaimed.

“Sure.” Geo and Perseus agreed.

After the weird commotion, all of them explored more of the cave full of mysteries… While Loren and Perseus were exploring the cave, Geo sneaked away to see what was truly in the chest. Geo thought Perseus was lying and he thought the scars were all fake.

“Let’s see what’s truly in this chest.”

Geo slowly opened the chest.

“AHHHHH!!!!!!!” Geo screamed.

“What was that?” Loren questioned.

“I don’t know,” Perseus responded.

“Ok then…” Loren whispered.

“Wait for a second... WHERE IS GEO!?!?” Loren shouted.

Loren and Perseus sprinted back to the chest immediately.

“AHH!!! What is that thing!?!?” Loren screamed.

“It’s Medusa,” Perseus whispered.

“Get your hands off my friend Geo you ugly monster!” Loren shouted.

“Fight me then…” Medusa mumbled.

“Fine.” Perseus snorted.

“If I beat this monster once, I can beat it again!”

Loren and Perseus fight with all their might, but the one problem was that Medusa’s hair was made of snakes, and if Loren, Perseus, or Geo stared at her snakes, they would turn into stone and die.

“I have a plan,” Loren whispered.

“What is it?”

“So Perseus, you and I will be blindfolded and wish the best of luck to kill this ugly monster.”

“Ok.”

“CHARGE!!!” Perseus screamed.

Loren took out his lava gun Geo gave him, and Perseus took out his silver sword. Somehow while fighting, Medusa punched Loren backward, but Loren took the shot with his lava gun and it hit medusa right into her.

“AHHH!!!!” Medusa screamed. Then while Medusa was screaming in pain, Perseus took the final shot with his sword. With his best of luck blindfolded, he swung his sword and killed Medusa.

“Is Medusa dead?” Loren sighed.

“Yes!” Perseus sighed.

“Good.” Loren gasped.

“Wait… where's Geo?” Loren asked.

“I'm right here!” Geo shouted.

“Ok good,” Loren replied.

After the battle Loren and Perseus were very tired, so Geo, Loren, and Perseus took a quick break on a rock.

“Ahhh…” Loren and Perseus sighed.

“Rumble…’”

“Now what?” Loren groaned.

“Watch out! The floor is crumbling and breaking!” Geo shouted

There's lava on the bottom!!” Perseus hollered.

Suddenly Loren slips and almost falls into the lava, but Geo jumped and held on to him just in time.

“Loren hold on!”

Perseus acted quickly. He quickly picked up Geo and Loren and flew them out of the cave.

“Thank you, Perseus.” Loren and Geo gasped.

“You saved us just in time. If you didn’t fly us out of the cave we would have been stuck in the cave.” Geo exclaimed.

“No problem. I’m supposed to be saving lives, not betraying lives.”

The cave collapsed and then it disappeared into the ground.

“And guess what?” Perseus asked.

“What?” Loren and Geo responded.

“When Loren and I killed Medusa, it dropped 3 new pairs of wings for us!”

“YAY!!!” Loren and Geo screamed. When Loren, Geo, and Perseus were done trying out their new wings, Loren and Geo flew back home and went back to living their normal life while Perseus went back to his unknown home.
